Long time, no chat

Hey, hey everyone! Long time, no chat, lol. Seriously, it's been a minute since I caught up with you all. Life's been pulling me in all sorts of directions lately, and honestly, I've been slacking on this blog – major bummer because I high-key love doing this. But honestly, I've been crazy busy lately. Like, last week, I practically survived on just one hour of sleep every night. College move-in day was almost near, and I had to pack up basically my whole life! So, there I was, modeling outfits that I hadn't touched in ages because all of my favorite clothes were packed up already.

I finally moved in on Saturday, and I've got a golden piece of advice: NEVER, and I mean NEVER, leave packing for the day before moving. Sounds doable, right? But trust me, you'll be in the thick of it, cursing your decisions and wishing you had started ages ago. I thought I was being smart by giving myself a four-day head start, but even then, it felt like I had a mountain of stuff to tackle.

NOW, let's talk about the move-in vibe – that part was actually kind of fun for me. I'm all about that organizing life. I can spend hours tweaking things until they're just right. Can we call that being a perfectionist? Anyway, my side of the dorm is all about nature's chill vibes, especially my go-to color, sage green. It's like bringing a slice of home with me. And guess what? I lucked out with one of the newly revamped Honors dorm buildings, so it's pretty clean and surprisingly spacious. Moral of the story: putting in work and keeping those grades up pays off – perks, my friends, perks! And that sense of achievement? Oh yeah, it hits different.

Now, I have had some legit worries about making new friends, but guess what? No need to stress. Introvert or not, there are others just like you, and extroverts aplenty too. The cool thing is, everyone's super friendly. Strike up a convo, and boom, you're on the road to a new friendship. And bringing along some games? Instant friend-maker. Who doesn't bond over game-night?

Classes are lurking , and yeah, I'm feeling a bit jittery. But you know what keeps me chill? My connection with the big G – yep, I'm talking about God. Dude literally whipped up the whole universe, so I'm pretty sure He's got my back. Plus, His plans are always on point. Trust the process, right? I'm ready to tackle my classes like a boss. General Chemistry, you're not going to scare me off that easily!

Anyway, I pulled up my virtual soapbox while waiting for CHEM Camp to kick off, so I'm going to finish this. Stay tuned for my next post – I'll make sure it's extra intentional.
