Hey, guys! Life has been keeping me on my toes lately, but I'm determined to stay consistent with my blog posts. Today, I thought I'd fill you in on what's been happening in my world lately.
So, after graduating high school in May, I decided to kick off my summer by diving headfirst into some studying—yes, you heard it right, studying during the summer, lol. I'm taking 2 classes, Statistics and federal government, as part of my summer session. I know it sounds crazy, but honestly, I don't mind it one bit. Both of my classes are surprisingly interesting, and I like the challenge. Besides, having something productive to do keeps me from feeling all over the place. I even made a schedule on Excel to keep myself organized for this week. Early mornings are in the cards for me, waking up at 6 AM from Sunday to Wednesday, and 7:30 AM from Thursday to Saturday. And hey, I'm making a conscious effort to get a solid 8 hours of sleep because, let's face it, we all function better when we're well-rested.
Oh, and get this—My college orientation is right around the corner! It's the time where I'll finally create my official class schedule, and I couldn't be more excited. I believe that God will align the perfect classes for me when the time comes. Plus, being part of the honors program at my university means I get to enjoy a fun introductory honors course, so i am super excited about that also.I promise to keep you all updated once my schedule is locked in for good.Plus I still need to tackle the whole dorm list situation. Time is flying, and before I know it, moving day will be here (seriously insane!).
Now, let's talk about something that seems to stir up mixed emotions—moving into your college dorm for the first time and embracing independence. Some people find it really tough, feeling homesick and lonely as they're separated from their familiar support network. On the other hand, there are those who handle it seemingly better, thriving on change—and that happens to be me. I view change as an exciting opportunity for personal growth. After all, if we stay in our cozy comfort zones forever, how can we expect to blossom? True growth requires taking risks and venturing into the unknown, right?
Now that I'm pouring my thoughts onto this blog post, I realize that this is exactly what I want to say to each and every one of you reading this. I may not know who you are—maybe it's a bunch of you—but I'm here to tell you that change is not only okay but it is also necessary. I understand that leaving behind your current life can be overwhelming, and guess what? That's completely normal! Change can be intimidating, but it's also a gateway to incredible experiences and personal development. You've come so far, and I have so much faith in your ability to adapt and thrive in this exciting new chapter of your life. You're smart, capable, and resilient—never doubt that. So, instead of dwelling on the uncertainties, let's focus on the incredible possibilities that lie ahead. College will introduce us to new friendships, never-forgetting learning experiences, and so much personal growth, so embrace this chance to uncover more about yourself and your passions.
Just so you guys know, I am right here whenever you need someone to talk to, and if there's anything I can do to support you please don’t hesitate to tell me. You can find a contact form at the bottom of my blog website and fill it out if we don’t know each other personally. I'm dedicated to being by your side every step of the way. Best of luck, girlteamed community! Let’s start this journey together!
